November 2009 Chattanooga LOA MeetUp

Hello LOAers........ I hope all of you have experienced wonderful things through LOA since the October MeetUp. Because the owner sold the building in which the Chattanooga LOA MeetUp met monthly (inside Main & Mocha by Main and Market streets,) Victoria and I looked at different places for the group to meet. Finding a place was more difficult than imagined in Chattanooga. However, the universe does give freely if we choose to believe. Such is the case with the new meeting place. We looked at an area which was relatively close to downtown. The new meeting place is Pasha Coffee & Tea in St. Elmo (no more than two or so miles south of downtown Chattanooga.) Pasha's St. Elmo Living Room (at the base of Lookout Mountain) has more room than Main & Mocha to accompany folks, and it should be a conducive atmosphere for having LOA MeetUps. The management at Pasha is allowing us to use the St. Elmo Living Room for free, as long as we buy something from there. Otherwise, the MeetUp will be charged for having meetings. Please support Pasha by purchasing one of many different types of coffees, a pastry, or other at a MeetUp (just like we did at Main & Mocha.) Thank you. We look forward to seeing you there. Driving Directions Coming from I-75: Go west on I-24 to the Market Street exit (Exit 178) to Lookout Mountain. Take the off-ramp and follow the signs for Lookout Mountain. Turn left onto Broad Street. Go south on Broad Street and get into the left turn lane at the light onto Tennessee Avenue (if you go past that, you will go under an overpass tunnel and be on your way to Lookout Valley.) Go south on Tennessee Avenue, under an overpass, and pass 38th Street. On your right before Blacksmith's Bistro is a stone-filled parking lot (by an art gallery.) Park there - it's free. Please do not park in the Incline Railway parking lot, unless you are so inclined to make a contribution to Republic Parking. If coming from 153, go to I-75 and follow above directions. If coming from Hixson Pike, take 153 to I-75 or see the directions immediately below: Coming from downtown Chattanooga/North Shore area: From downtown, go south on Broad Street and get into the left turn lane at the light onto Tennessee Avenue (if you go past that, you will go under an overpass tunnel and be on your way to Lookout Valley.) Coming from U.S. 27 out of Red Bank/Signal Mountain/Soddy-Daisy : Take US 27 south to I-24 east. Once upon I-24, get into the right lane immediately and take the Williams Street exit. You will pass a Motel 6 and Comfort Suites. At 25th Street, take a right and go one block to 25th and Broad Street (you will see a KFC in front of you.) Go south on Broad Street and get into the left turn lane at the light onto Tennessee Avenue (if you go past that, you will go under an overpass tunnel and be on your way to Lookout Valley.)
