Sunday, November 16 (3rd Sunday) 2-4 pm at Miller-Motte (MMTC) Dr. Ben Johnson, MD, DO, NMD: "Thermography: Detect Breast Cancer before Mammography without Radiation" Dr. Ben Johnson, featured on "The Secret" DVD, plans to give us full information on an FDA-approved machine: D.I.T.I. -- Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (the process is Thermography), with evidence that Thermograms have detected developing tumors 10 years in advance of when they would be picked up in a mammogram or clinical breast exams. Dr. Johnson wrote a book on breast health, "Breast Wisdom" that will be available for purchase at our meeting, and he owns the only DITI Thermography unit within 2 hours of Chattanooga, in operation at Stillpoint Health Associates. In a four-year clinical trial published in 2003, researchers used thermography on 769 possible breast cancer patients with a 97% accuracy rate, and compared this to the high rate of inaccuracy for mammograms. Each mammogram increases a womanÂ’s chance of developing breast cancer by 1%.
