The New Yorker calls renowned guitarist, songster & spirited live performer, Paul Curreri, "exquisite... He brings a renewed eloquence to the medium." Curreri initially started garnering attention for his uniquely personal (and mind-blowing) acoustic guitar prowess -- part Delta, part jazz, as deeply rooted as it was spontaneous. His ever-evolving style has currently landed rather fiercely on his electric 8th album, The Big Shitty. If that title puts you off, fear not, as you'll find Curreri to be quite a charming fellow, and a rather hysterical performer. Add a rare 5-STAR review in MOJO, that guitar legend Kelly Joe Phelps produced one of his records, and Time Out London's referring to Curreri as: "Unruly, poetic, and seductively badass," and you start to get the idea.
