Charlottesville, the wait is over. For the first time ever, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will perform at the John Paul Jones Arena on November 17 as part of Jimmy Buffett’s “Summerzcool” Tour 2009.
Local Parrotheads won’t want to miss their chance to soak in the full Margaritaville experience. Jimmy’s upcoming album, Buffet Hotel (one t), is scheduled for release in December. The title cut has a strong West African influence and was conceived during a trip to the “Festival In The Desert,” a music festival that takes place annually near Timbuktu, Mali. “It was one of the best musical experiences of my life,” said Jimmy.
