      EVENT DETAILS
      Conspirator with Former Champions

Conspirator features Aron Magner and Marc Brownstein (The Disco Biscuits keyboardist and bass player) as an outlet to channel their electronic mad scientist personae. Formed in 2004, Conspirator has worked with a variety of talented musicians, with Magner and Brownstein being the founders and mainstays. With the recent permanent addition of virtuoso guitarist Chris Michetti, and with the tremendously talented KJ Sawka (Pendulum) as the band’s touring drummer, Conspirator has reached another level in its constantly evolving dance/rock fusion.

Unlocked - Live from the Georgia Theatre (released April 10, 2012 on SCI Fidelity Records) captures the spirit of these true genre blenders. Recorded 10.06.2011 at the historic Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA and featuring Mike Greenfield from Lotus on drums, Unlocked is a collection of electronic rock bliss - delving, twisting and diving effortlessly between house, dub-step, drum and bass, and electro.

Recent press accolades for the new album include Guitar Player (“Pulsating grooves and synth bleeps … Nile Rodgers-approved funk, technically demanding fuzz melodies, blues-rock wailing, and full-on speed-picked shred,”) Jambands.com (“(Unlocked) demands to be played from start to finish; ride this trip until there’s nothing left to ride,” and the Aquarian Weekly (“The way they seamlessly mesh together great rock and electric sounds makes me want to hear more from these guys.”).

2011 was a seminal year for the group with groundbreaking performances at the Ultra Music Festival, Nocturnal Festival, Electric Forest Festival and Camp Bisco 10 as well as sold out shows at the Gramercy Theatre in NYC, Pearl Street in Northampton, MA, the Fox Theater in Boulder and the Bluebird Theatre in Denver. As a full band, the music is hitting new highs and killing in the live show. With the addition of an arsenal of new material, more crowds across the nation have begun to embrace this remarkable outfit.

Yes, it is the Year of the Dragon but barring the Mayan prediction coming true for 2012, this should be Conspirator’s year as well.
