The Derek Trucks Band is an inspired collective of six like-minded yet diverse musical maestros. Their approach seamlessly blends rock, blues, jazz and world music into a sound that is both familiar and yet entirely unique. Led by Derek Trucks soaring guitar work, the band has earned their reputation as an incendiary live act, and enjoy the devoted following that comes with such a distinction. Their latest album, the critically-acclaimed 2009 release Already Free, is a powerful document of a band in its creative prime, and is the bands most successful album to date after debuting in Billboards Top 20 Albums chart.
