Constructed in 1992, the North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center was a joint project between the Blumenthal Foundation and the state of North Carolina. It features six theaters, the largest of which is the Belk Theatre. This theatre can comfortably fit 2100 patrons and has been host to everything from corporate events to opera performances. The Booth Playhouse is a proscenium theatre featuring 434 seats. The Center also features the stage Door Theatre, Knight Theatre, and the Duke Power Theatre.
