Single, and finding yourself in far too many crowded bars and late night rock sessions? Well then -- let your flower child out! Join us on June 12 and bring your fishing gear -- because, we're goin' fishin'! The venue is the McDowel Nature Center and Nature Preserve. The place is the Picnic shelter on Copperhead Island. Charge: $5.00 per head to cover the shelter rental! Please bring $5 in cash and deposit in the kitty. I am NOT going to arrange a formal picnic meal -- you know how lazy I am! So this is BYOB, BYOL, and BYO-food. Yes, you may feed me if you insist. :-) Yes, I am going to sample everything you bring. So -- how about we all bring something? LAy it out at the shelter and GO FISHING!! Not into fishing? There is also a really neat nature trail on the "island" (actually a penensula) Don't have any gear? I'll be bringing several rod and real setups. What to bring: Whatever you want to consume and/or share FRISBIEEs Footballs Fishing Gear Sun Screen A Hat "Sensible Shoes" We leave the park at sunset -- 9:00. After-party -- yes.
