Event is open 7am to 6pm, finish by 8pm. Trail is mostly paved and nearly flat. Charlotte is the county seat with many beautiful, old homes. The route passes an old railroad station(now an ice cream parlor) and to a park and fairgrounds. Trail start is at a swimming pool next to a new school complex. Ask for an orange, zipper folder for registration.
