The wedding business is a $ 165 Billion industry, with over 2.4 million weddings every year, just in the United States alone. Many brides are looking for an experienced hand to help them with their planning. More and more brides today are also looking for a savvy wedding planner to provide time-saving and money-saving ideas, and generally to reduce the stress of the wedding planning process. You do a lot of the work behind the scenes for your bride, so she can spend more time with her family and friends. Being a wedding coordinator is a lot of hard work but it can also be rewarding and fun. Your job is to help a brides dreams come true also on time and under budget !
Ready to have more control over your time ? Ready to have more influence over your income ? If you join ABC and take the courses provided by ABC, you will be well on your way to working for yourself. You should certainly keep your day job while you are studying and training, as it will take some time to build your business. The ABC courses themselves generally take from 3 6 months to complete. Once you build your bridal consulting or wedding planning business, you wont work any less than a full-time job. But you will decide when you work and which projects you accept.
We are the oldest and largest organization exclusively serving wedding professionals, and we have been training wedding coordinators since 1955. Our programs provide all the information you will need to get started and become successful in this business. Our courses and seminars are also periodically updated to reflect changes in our industry. Veronica Foster, Accredited Bridal Consultant will be teaching this course and answering questions. She has been planning weddings for 8 years and acts as the North Carolina State Coordinator for the Association of Bridal Consultants.
