Vegan Thanksgiving Potluck

This meetup is intended to be as convenient as possible to your needs as a vegetarian/vegan during Thanksgiving. If you plan on meeting your family later in the afternoon or evening, feel free to just come make a plate and leave early if need be. If you don't plan on feasting with your family, then stay as long you want and indulge. There are a couple of requirements to attend this Potluck: 1. Bring a vegan dish large enough to feed at least 5 people. We don't need a "napkin and drinks" person. Please make something from scratch instead of going to the store and buying a Tofurky log. Creativity is what makes for good Potlucks. 2. Print off copies of the recipe unless it's some old family secret you don't want to share. 3. Bring your own container to carry food home. 4. If you want something besides water, bring your own drinks. 5. The dish you bring should preferably be a traditional thanksgiving, autumn type flavors. In other words try and avoid curries and pad thai type dishes. We want to have recipes we can share that Grandma would eat. 6. Please RSVP with the dish you plan on making so that we don't have 5 sides of collards and 4 pumpkin pies. 7. If you need to heat up a dish, please arrive a little early. 8. Kids and omnivore guests are welcomed but please limit to just a couple people unless you are bringing more than one dish. Every potluck is always a good experience. Come hungry, leave happy.
