UPDATE...There has been a change in the location!!!! Charlotte Oktoberfest 2009 will be held at The Metrolina Expo, located at 7100 Statesville Road, just 10 minutes from uptown Charlotte. This is just off of I-77 between exit 16 and exit 18 on Statesville Road. The festival will be held on the outdoor grass fields. Due to the popularity of the extra sampling hour that comes with the premium ticket, we are selling a limited quantity of three different tickets for admission this year. GENERAL @ $35 allows entrance to the festival at 2 PM. PREMIUM @ $50 allows entrance to the festival at 1 PM. Designated Driver tickets are $20. All ticket sales will cease when the allotted number of premium and general admission tickets are sold. Be aware that the Charlotte Oktoberfest has SOLD OUT in advance for the past 3 years. We strongly recommend that you purchase your tickets early to avoid missing the chance. You MUST have a valid photo ID and be 21 years of age or older to enter the festival -- NO EXCEPTIONS. General and Premium ticket holders will all receive: A Collectible 5-oz. Charlotte Oktoberfest Tasting Glass. Your selection of samples from over 350 of the finest craft brewed beers in the Southeast and from around the world. (see the brewers page!) Souvenir event guide with an improved map to help you navigate to your next selection. All ticket holders will enjoy: Live entertainment on the big stage at the North end of the stadium. The chance to put your skills to the test on games like table tennis, foosball, corn hole and many others in the Creative Loafing Beerlympic Village at the South end of the stadium. Food vendors serving some of the tastiest brats, hot dogs, pretzels, and more. About Festival Proceeds The Carolina BrewMasters have always been dedicated to helping our local community. The Charlotte Oktoberfest provides a great opportunity to make an impact and so we choose to donate the majority of festival proceeds to the following charities this year The National Kidney Foundation of North Carolina and Victory Junction. During the 10 years of hosting our festival, the Carolina BrewMasters have donated over $165,000 to local charities. Please see the press release for more information. The Charlotte Beer Club had a blast here last year. I've been lucky enough to attend 8 out of the 1st 10, including the very 1st one when there about 100 people there! I STRONGLY REMMOND BUYING YOUR TICKETS ASAP AND PURCHASING THE PREMIUM TICKET!!!! They sold out fast last year. Charlotte Oktoberfest 2009 will be held at beautiful Memorial Stadium, located adjacent to Central Piedmont Community College's main campus and bordered by King's Drive, Seventh Street and Charlottetowne Ave. (formerly Independence Blvd.) in Uptown Charlotte.
