An original Schiele Museum exhibit
The dark, still water and black, smelly mud of Southeastern swamps is home to an incredible variety of plants and animals. And this exhibit brings many of them to you LIVE! Our winding boardwalk leads you through a primeval world of live American alligators, a baby bobcat, a baby skunk, a 15-foot albino Burmese python, screech owls, venomous snakes and more! And our Live From the Swamp program, presented on weekends, lets you learn more about the incredible animals in our Southeastern swamps and even meet a few.
