Trip Organizer: Rick A. Hike leader: Zoe A. Activity Type: Hiking Difficulty Rating: Easy/Moderate Backcountry Hiking Trails We will only hike part of the Park Loop Trail to get to the Brown Mountain Trail, which is a 2.5 mile trail from the visitor center to Browns Mountain. This is not a loop trail. You must backtrack to get back to the visitor center. A total hike of 5 miles. We will hike this route ourselves December 12th and update at that time. See Map. Hikers must register at the visitor center before hiking on backcountry trails. We will meet at Kings Mountain National Military Park Visitor Center. Directions are listed below. Getting There Kings Mountain National Military Park is located on South Carolina Highway 216. From Charlotte, NC travel on I- 85 South to NC Exit #2.
