Description
On January 19th (MLK Day), Charlotte ACORN -along with any and all volunteers will be canvassing one of Charlotte's neighborhoods hit hardest by foreclosures, in order to reach out to those families in need. We will be meeting at our office at 3:00pm and leaving to go out at 3:30pm. The location of our office is: 3557 N. Sharon Amity Rd. Suite 200 Charlotte, NC 28205 The purpose of this event is to find those families being hit hardest by the current foreclosure crisis hitting our country. We will walk the neighborhood talking to everyone and tell them about ACORN's Stop Foreclosures campaign and get people involved in the fight to put an end to this crisis. Activities will include giving out flyers, signing people up to be ACORN Foreclosure Fighters, and telling people where they can go to get aid in there time of need.
