Event details: Changing Places: From Black and White to Technicolor®
Description
"Changing Places: From Black and White to Technicolor®" is a multi-part project exploring how people in the region are responding to the growing cultural diversity and change created by the influx of newcomers from across the U.S. and around the globe. "Changing Places" spans 3500 square feet of gallery space and features videos, artifacts, photography and more. Visitors will discover stories from new arrivals, find examples of things “done before,” explore longtime and new traditions, be challenged to push past stereotypes, consider what home means to you, share personal stories in a video-talkback booth, and join in many other exciting interactive experiences!
