Description

Andy Warhol became the central figure in the Pop Art Movement that emerged in the United States in the 1950s and enjoyed increased popularity in the 1960s. Warhol, as an artist and an avant-garde filmmaker, became a renowned celebrity whose life was often one of controversy. Today, Warhol’s acclaim as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century is legendary. The exhibition will feature approximately 60 selections from various Warhol portfolios from the Bank of America Collection.
