The Charlotte Museum of History's new exhibit, An Invitation to the White House, will open October 25, 2008. This exhibit will look at state dining at the White House with reproduction presidential china and actual dinner invitations and menus. Also included will be a collection of inaugural invitations and memorabilia spanning eight decades. A traveling exhibit from the White House Historical Association will explore the construction of the West Wing and working in the West Wing.
