Description
AIDS WALK Charlotte benefits RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network). Our mission is to engage the community to transform lives and promote respect and dignity for all people touched by the AIDS crisis through compassionate care, education and leadership development.
Funds raised from AIDS WALK Charlotte improve the quality of life for those living with HIV and AIDS, and provide prevention education. All funds raised during this event stay in the Charlotte region.
AIDS WALK Charlotte is the largest HIV/AIDS awareness and fundraising event in the Carolinas. It is a visual representation of our communities' commitment to HIV/AIDS by embarking on a 2 mile walk through Historic Fourth Ward. We walk in memory of those who have finished their journey, walk with those who join us in advocacy, and look to the future when our steps will have helped stop its spread.
You and 3,000 other caring individuals CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
