Charleston Harbor Paddle

Explore the harbor by kayak!! 12:00 Leave Sea Kayak Carolina for Sunrise Park 12:45 Launch and head for Castle Pinckney. Land if possible if not head for the Charleston Battery and land there for a quick break. Continue paddling along the Battery to the Coast Guard station and back to Sunrise Park. 4:00 or so back at the park Trip is approximately 7 miles Due to open water type environment sea kayaks with skirts are required. Sea Kayak Carolina will have a limited number of kayaks available for rent @ $30 each. People must call the shop at 843-225-7969 to reserve one. People must dress appropriately for this trip -- cold water!! This is an intermediate trip as the harbor can get choppy. Please contact me if you are unsure of your paddling ability or what dressing appropriately means.
