This former turn-of-the-century railroad-and-lumber hub features one of the most amazing properties to grace McMenamins' Kingdom - the Olympic Club Hotel & Theater. Very little has changed since its original 1908 opening. Beer drinkers, pool sharks and history buffs alike are charmed, so it's the perfect place for a quick overnight getaway.
Come out for the Oly Club's costume party -- wander about, pint in hand, imagining the place when it was frequented by railroad barons and bandits, brazen ladies of the evening, desperate gamblers, sly gangsters and the like. Hey, why not plan your costume around one of its former characters? You might just win a prize for best outfit. It'll be a raucous bash with a DJ, dancing, prizes, food and drink specials and more.
Stay the night in one of the cozy guestrooms to really make the most of it.
