Email Work Around - THIS IS NOT AN EVENT

An organizer came up with this idea to aid us in emailing only certain members of the group when we need to. I thought I'd give it a try. Basically how this will work, if I need to send an email, say to 'only females', then I can change every female's rsvp to yes for this fake meetup and send out an email. Unfortunately, that means each person will get two emails, one that your RSVP has changed and the other the real message. On the flip side, if your RSVP is being changed because you are not an intended recipient and you were are the previous email, then you will also get an rsvp change email (with no real message following). This is just an experiment. There are a handful of us trying this across the nation. It's working for some and not for others. We'll just have to try it to see. Thanks... Sherri
