28th Annual Seagrove Pottery Festival

We will car pool together to Seagrove to the attend the 28th Annual Seagrove Pottery Festival. Seagrove is regarded as the "Pottery Capital of the United States" and is home to more than 100 potters. This annual festival provides the opportunity to meet most of the potters, along with other local artisans all at one location. This should be a great day trip to make together. Even if you do not buy anything, "just looking" is a fun thing to do. Everything is in one place, the Seagrove School, and you can wander through tents and buildings. The potters are there with items just made for this festival. Maybe you could think about birthdays, weddings, Christmas, a special anniversary or even a house warming gift......I know you could find something wonderful! If we go early, we may stop half way for breakfast and then travel on. We haven't had a breakfast together yet...so, why not??!!!! The festival begins at 10 am so we will have plenty of time to wander and enjoy the day together. So, wear your walking shoes and dress for the weather.
