Footsore Fiends: S.D. North County Walking & Hiking Club Meetup

10K (6.2 miles) at Los Angeles State Historic Park, L.A. Ever drive by a place and promise yourself someday you'll check it out? Even though this walk is not nearby, it's hard to pass up because itÂ’s in an area IÂ’ve been hoping to explore. This downtown L.A. walk will go past lots of "Top Ten LA" sites like Chinatown, Union Station, Little Tokyo, El Pueblo de Los Angeles, the LA Cathedral, Disney Hall, Pershing Square and the Museum of Contemporary Art. ItÂ’s a one-way route and weÂ’ll be taking the metro back to the start. This walk is being sponsored by the Hollywood Star Trekkers walking club and is AVA sanctioned. Let's carpool or caravan from Carlsbad. WeÂ’ll find a place for lunch afterwards so we probably won't get back until around 4pm.
