Dot Dot Dot’s music is a thrilling union of rock elements cloaked in dance beats with synthy frills; it’s a wonder they didn’t call themselves Duran Duran Duran. Familiar to some as 2007 finalists on American Idol’s spinoff, The Next Great American Band, the group consists of Adam Blair, Rose, Little Lisa, Michael, and Stephan.

Dot Dot Dot’s latest EP, called I, has been added to over 180 college radio stations and is charting on the College Music Journal Top 200. The single, How Long, has entered the top ten in the FMQB Specialty Radio charts at a number of commercial stations including Sirius/XM’s AltNation. Still another of the band’s songs, Party Go On, is the soundtrack to Party City’s international television promotions.

For most independent bands, performing 400 shows, selling 25,000 units, and promoting themselves on a television series is something of a dream. But for Chicago’s Dot Dot Dot, it’s business as usual. And what makes them even more exceptional is that they’ve been able to do all this and more in only three short years without support from record labels or agents.
