Description
Located at the southern most tip of New Jersey, historic Cape May claims the famed status as being America's first sea resort town. Earning the title of "American Dream Town of NJ" in 2004, Cape May is a true Victorian town. There are the "Grand Ladies" of the island with all their vibrant color, gingerbread and lace trim, charming verandas, intricate ornamentation and structured gardens. Many of the 600 buildings listed under the National Register of Historic Places are now B & B's. You will walk along the shore, by beautifully maintained beaches, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Delaware Bay, and note the famed Cape May Lighthouse. Enjoy the pedestrian mall at Washington Square and dine at any of the numerous casual and upscale restaurants.
