Description
Daily, dawn to dusk. Restroom and water at walk start and along route. Revised for 2010, this scenic walk passes the firehouse, the police station, the Cannon Beach Historical Society museum, Coaster Theatre Playhouse, and the library. Goes through a garden, quiet residential neighborhoods, a couple of parks, the business district (for shopping/eating) and, of course, the Pacific Ocean beach. Visit the water treatment lagoons and observe varied and abundant waterfowl. Lewis & Clark documented their travel from Ft. Clatsop to what is now Les Shirley Park to view a beached whale.
