Growing Solar – Clackamas County
A community-based, volunteer-driven solar initiative to reduce your power bill.

Residents and small businesses can participate in this community-led program for installing quality Oregon-made solar electric and solar hot water systems at affordable one-time prices.
Growing Solar Clackamas County is a citizen-run group, with support from Oregon State University Extension Service, Clackamas County Office of Sustainability, and Solar Oregon (an Oregon non-profit organization). The purpose of the group is to inform citizens about the benefits of converting to solar electricity and hot water, while taking advantage of low pricing through group bulk purchasing, tax incentives, and leasing options.

The steering committee has scheduled a number of “early bird” workshops throughout the county to help citizens learn more about Solar Energy and financing as follows (additional workshops will be offered in March and April).

Note this program with special rates is a one-time limited offer. Deadlines are:
• EARLY BIRD SAVINGS (additional savings for early committers)
o February 19: Deadline to schedule a site assessment
o March 14: Deadline to sign a purchase/lease contract *
• SPECIAL ONE-TIME SAVINGS (committee negotiated savings)
o April 15: Deadline to schedule a site assessment
o May 15: Deadline to sign a purchase/lease contract *

(*Must have a site assessment before a contract can be signed. However attendance at a workshop Is optional.)
