Walking Event:

Daily, dawn to dusk. Closed Christmas and open shorter hours on Thanksgiving and Easter. Call store for operating hours on these days. Drive to start point (approximately two miles from Krogers). Restrooms and water are available at Krogers but not always available along the walk. Canal Winchester is one of the oldest communities in Ohio. The sights and feel of a small town experiencing the growing pains associated with being on the outskirts of an expanding Columbus, OH. Walk trail is primarily on downtown and neighborhood sidewalks, passing beautiful old homes and a train depot built in 1869. It also includes a historic covered bridge, the last remaining one in Franklin County. Club members will assist large groups of with registration, etc. Advance notice is required.
