Description

Audiences would be hard pressed to find another intimate, basement club in the Boston area with as much character and popularity as the Lizard Lounge. Located in Cambridge, between Harvard Square and Porter Square, the Lizard Lounge schedules some of the best rock, jazz, and blues music around, attracting guests from Boston, Somerville, and Arlington. The cozy atmosphere provides an ideal location for the talented musicians that perform, and represents just the tip of the entertainment iceberg audiences will find at the Lizard Lounge.

Opened in 1996, the Lizard Lounge provides its patrons with an atmosphere and features that make for a great night out. A full bar of premium liquor and a great selection of local microbrews can provide a little extra excitement to festivities of the night. Upstairs from the Lizard Lounge is Cambridge Common, which serves a selection of excellent and creative American cuisine. All of these things merely enhance the schedule of musicians constantly performing at the club, all whom contribute to the art house scene at the Lizard Lounge.
