International Film - Afghan Star

A member of the group is showing the film Afghan Star at the Charles River Campus of Boston University. This film delves into the political instability that has engulfed Afghanistan but it also goes on shows attempts at democracy. It describes the harsh realities of gender inequality and the ethnic differences that exist in Afghanistan. The movie will be followed by a discussion.
