Description

Speaker: Dennis Gaitsgory

Time: 5:30pâ€"8:00p

Location: MIT 2-139/Harvard room 507

The target audience of the seminar are graduate students, who wish to enter the area of geometric representation theory. But of course, everybody else is welcome as well. (So, could you please forward this email to graduate students in your respective institutions, or anybody else that you know who might be interested?)

Our goal in the fall semester will be to understand the contents of the (unfinished) book "Quantization of Hitchin's integrable system and Hecke eigensheaves" by Beilinson and Drinfeld.
