Boston Horns
The Boston Horns are a 7-piece jazz/funk band with a New Orleans flavor, founded in 1999 by Henley Douglas, Jr. (saxophones) Garret Savluk (trumpet/vocals) and Jeff Buckridge (guitar). Before founding the Boston Horns, Douglas and Savluk were best known for fronting the 10-piece funk outfit the Heavy Metal Horns, who came to international acclaim in the 1980s. In their new incarnation, Douglas and Savluk have led the Boston Horns to perform on stages at clubs all over New England major festivals in Montreal, San Jose, Boston and beyond.
