An Insider's View of Israeli Cleantech

Hezi Kugler, Chairman of the Israeli Clean Energy Alliance and the former Director General of Israel's Ministry of National Infrastructures will share his perspective on Israel's cleantech sector. Opportunities for claentech interhsips in Israel will also be presented.

Mr. Kugler is the Chairman of the Israeli Clean Energy Alliance, a new not-for-profit group dedicated to promoting the Israeli clean energy sector and turning Israel into a major player in the international clean energy arena. Mr. Kugler was the Director General of Israel's Ministry of National Infrastructures from September 2006 ? May 2009. At the Ministry of National Infrastructures, Mr. Kugler played a central role in devising Israeli energy policy, including the tenders for the first major solar energy plants in Israel, fostering close cooperation with the U.S. Department of Energy, and a $10 billion overhaul of Israel's power sector.
