Description

The Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium Calgary opened in the late 1950s and has since become one of the most highly regarded performance venues in the city.

Serving to bolster community spirit and foster cultural learning, the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium Calgary has played and continues to play host to a variety of live performances; opera, ballet, Broadway shows, stand-up comedians and dance festivals have all featured on the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium Calgary schedule in the past.

In 1986/'87, the Rehearsal Room at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium Calgary was renovated, the resulting space going on to win the Alberta Architects Award. Having undergone additional, larger-scale renovations in 2005, the 2,500+ seat Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium Calgary now boasts enhanced acoustics, improved seating and climate control.
