More about Calgary TELUS Convention Centre
Calgary TELUS Convention Centre
The Calgary TELUS Convention Centre (CTCC) was officially opened on November 14, 1974 by former Prime Minister John Diefenbaker. The CTCC was the first full service convention centre in Canada and a leader with in-house technology. A major expansion to construct the North Building was completed in May, 2000 and enabled the CTCC to compete in national and international markets. Since that time, the CTCC has hosted numerous conventions, meetings and events. Delegates, celebrities and politicians have graced our building from across the globe. Meetings and conventions provide the City of Calgary with an annual economic benefit of over 60 million dollars. Operated by the Calgary Convention Centre Authority, on behalf of the City of Calgary, the CTCC provides more than 132,000 square feet of flexible meeting and exhibit space to the conventions and meetings industry, trade and consumer shows, corporations and private individuals.Post a Countdown Widget
