Description
Learn to machine knit a this beautiful counterpane vest or counterpane pullover (not pictured). Yarn to make this design is included in price of class. Machine knitters can bring their own machine or rent a machine for $25.00. Class will be taught by Uyvonne Bigham, adjunct professor at Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.), knitwear designer and former design director Plymouth Yarn Company. Expert quilter, Darlean Woods will be teaching a Quilted Vest workshop. Quilters will love the stylish vest and you can add knitted sleeves to the vest to convert the vest into a jacket. Darlean will also be teach braided jewelery using the kumihimo brading disk. The workshop consist of 3 days and 2 nights, 7 meals and over night accomodations. Sleeping arrangements are dormitory style, single beds. Students must bring their own bed linens, towels, wash cloths and toiltetries. This is a great get away for anyone interested in knitting, quilting or jewelry making and socializing with a great group of ladies! Cost of workshop is $250.00.
