The Snake Alley Art Fair is held on the streets of Burlington's Heritage Hill Historic District, North Sixth Street between Washington and High Streets including Snake Alley- the crookedest street in the world.
The 2012 Fair is held in conjunction with Burlington's Annual Steamboat Days Music Festival held on the Mississippi riverfront, bringing thousands of visitors to the area.
Over 100 artist booths, strolling musicians, children's activities and art, Images of Snake Alley, food and drink vendors, and Iowa's typically beautiful June weather make this Father's Day event a festive celebration. An estimated 10,000 patrons stroll the Fair each year.
The Fair is organized by an all-volunteer committee of the Art Guild of Burlington, which maintains the Art Center location in downtown Burlington.
