Adventures in COOKING: Let's Talk Turkey

We're excited to host our first Dinner Party! COST: $5.00 per person Since not everyone can or wish to host, we think it's only fair that everyone chips in to help cover the cost of the main. Doing it this way will not only guarantee that people attend but whomever hosts is not left paying for the main and hopefully other members will wish to host. HOW IT WILL WORK: Different dinner parties will work differently depending on the theme, host, etc. It's important to be flexible and realize this is for fun! This event is a COOKING PARTY: The host along with the other members, will cook the main and get a class on how to from the host. Members will select an item to prepare, inform us of what it is, and bring it. Since we do have 2 ovens, if members choose, we can make some of the items here but we will need to know in advance. THEME - FALL COMFORT FOODS HOST - Scott MAIN - Scott is doing the turkey and giblet gravy CARB SIDE - Ali - mash potatoes VEG SIDE - OTHER SIDE - SALAD - APPETIZER - 2ND APP - DESSERT - WINE- OTHER COCKTAILS - Note: If you attended our last year's "Talk Turkey Dinner", you know that Scott's turkey is delicious! A combination of my mother and Emeril Lagasse's recipe, this turkey will be a hit at your next family dinner.
