AUTHOR BOOK SIGNING AND FUND RAISER TOUR

This is a book signing tour and Fund Raiser Headed By Author J. Newhall.
J. has come to the Branson area to Sign copies of his new book WHERE IS ANGEL? and to help raise funds for the local community.

I started this tour in December 09 at a time when things are at there worst, but this was done for a reason. The book it's self will inspire and give a light of hope to all who read it. But just as important, when I do a signing I try and make it a community event to get people to not just come out and get a copy of m...y book and free music piece, but to help inspire them in a time when there is so much negativity and darkness. I want to help bring peace to those who are troubled and hope to those who are lost. I have done two signings in Missouri so far and am slowly making a difference. Wherever I do a signing if a book is purchased from myself. I sign the book and also give them a special music piece I wrote for this book, and for every book sold I also make a contribution to something in that town. My first signing I donated to the Forsyth Library. My second I wrote a check to the salvation Army.

I am calling this the WHERE IS ANGEL? BOOK TOUR after my title. Just to let you know the word Angel in the title is not about a girl called Angel, but a metaphor in which can only be deciphered by the reader at the end of the book. This is a true and powerful story that starts off in a small town in upstate New York about two 15 year old kids, one boy and one girl who are willing to go beyond the distance for one another. Then fate steps in and changes it all. This story starts off in New York and travels all the way across the country. As the people in the story battle different challenges, you the reader will experience them as well. By the middle of the book though I talk about the characters all the way to the end it is no longer about them, but about you the reader and how the story ends is up to you the reader. You see as the book may come to a close this particular story will continue onward with whoever should read it and it shall start a new chapter with the the readers very own life. I am also trying to get some sponsorship to help fund this book tour to help make this tour successful. I have contacted a major car maker and a few other companies in hopes that they can help make this possible. For myself I will not give in so easy. If I have to sell my vehicle and walk across the country with a duffel bag to make this tour happen to help make a difference to help inspire people across the country then this is what I am willing to do. I don't have a lot of money, but people are in need of inspiration. I don't claim to be a saint, but I have been down the road of poverty and being pushed aside so the man who does not have to struggle can make progress. It is time for someone who knows what it is like to lose everything to stand up and share not just another story, but a true story and give hope and inspiration to others in need. There is a song by Don Henley – New York Minute is the name of the song. Take just a few minutes and listen to the song and you will see and understand why I am doing this. Someone has to make a difference and it needs to happen now.

This tour started in December 12/17/09 in Forsyth Missouri and will head north for upstate New York on Feb, 08/ 2010, then will head out to the rest of the country over the next year.
