Lindy Fix

This is the one and only lindy event in Buffalo and it's located just off Buffalo's famous Elmwood strip. Buffalo is finally on its way to establishing a lindy scene. For those of you who don't know, Lindy Hop is a form of swing dancing that came about in the late 20s and early 30s. It went through a resurgence in the mid to late 90s and is going strong across the US and in dozens of other coutries. Swing dances featuring lindy are a very social event. Everyone dances with everyone, though it's not typically a dating venue. Swing is a lifestyle based on the pure joy of dance: focussed on fun. So bring your spirits and prepare to smile! Beginners are not only wanted, they are required! We need you to make this happen!
