In 2nd grade I won the "Author of the Month" at St. Mary's School in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts for my poetry about bears and my sister and Thanksgiving. My aspirations were to be a poet, a teacher, or the owner of a pizza restaurant where 2nd graders could hang out. In 6th grade, I wrote a rap song for the graduation ceremony of the D.A.R.E. program. I decided that I wanted to be a rapper, a break-dancer or the owner of a pizza restaurant where 6th graders could hang out. In high school, I started a sketch comedy group called "The Sickies."
