Buchanan has become known as the "Town that glows with love" for its annual Christmas Eve Luminary display. Buchanan's downtown streets are lined with hundreds of luminaries heralding the arrival of Christmas. Dozens of volunteers recreate this spectacular display lining streets with luminaries made from milk jugs collected by area residents and youth.
