The exhibition presents European Oriental art from the late 18th to the early 20th century. Journey through the favourite themes of the artists of this movement. Desert-like or lush, green landscapes, female figures now glimpsed, now gazed at, as well as interiors with countless colourful details captured the attention of the artists and reflect the Western perception of the East. Down through the centuries, this vision was fed by contacts and trade, while developing a persistent imagination.
