This recent Grammy award winning band is getting bigger and buzzier..and after meeting the Chocolate Drops, they probably hate that. Because for them it is about the music and the tradition of that music. <>Rolling Stone said, "The Carolina Chocolate Drops are…revisiting, with a joyful vengeance, black string-band and jug-band music of the Twenties and Thirties-the dirt-floor dance electricity of the Mississippi Sheiks and Cannon's Jug Stompers" And that is very true, but they also have an edgy even urban at times accent, that makes their show so fun to watch and hear. They are touring a new album produced by Buddy Miller and we are grateful that we are along for their rise to stardom...whether they like it or not!!! Highly SMAC Recommended
