On December 2, 2008, Houston-native, singer/songwriter Sarah Elizabeth Foster released her debut album, “Gardening from the Ground Up Part 1,” on Studio Sarah Records, her eco-friendly, tech-savvy label based out of New York City’s West Village. With the release of this album, Foster and her newly formed band, made up of cello, viola, guitar and some piano, introduced their authentic sound to the NYC music scene.
