This sensual experience will guide you carefully through each step of collaboratively creating a safe, fun and exciting rope bondage experience for both of you.

• A basic set of versatile knots and ties.

The course is held in an elegant, comfortable and secure private home in Brooklyn. The intimate event will include light refreshments, instruction, conversation, demonstrations and the opportunity to practice with your partner.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to bring rope?
As a member of the workshop you'll receive a starter set of rope to use during the event and to take home with you after. Feel free to bring any rope you already own.

What should we wear?
Be comfortable and be sexy. This means different things for different people. Some come in yoga clothes and some come in boots and leather. It's really up to you and, of course, your partner. We discourage loose, flowing, clothes, as they are more difficult to tie over.

How far do things go in the workshop?
There will be some sensual activity and partial nudity (you set your own boundaries) during the workshop however we ask participants to refrain from overtly sexual behavior.

What if we have no experience?
This workshop is designed especially for you.

What if we have a lot of experience?
Many experienced kinksters have gotten quite a bit out of these events and we welcome you.

What do you mean by intimate?
We limit the workshop to 8 couples and create a space that is open and safe. It feels more like a quite dinner party (albeit with some interesting entertainment) than a class.

Who will be there?
The workshop is attended by a wide variety of people. Though predominately heterosexual, we welcome same-sex couples and have even had a triad attend on occasion (contact us for pricing).

Do I have to be part of a couple?
We ask that you come with someone you feel comfortable being intimate (though not necessarily sexual) with. What your relationship is before and after the event is up to you.

What about our privacy?
No cell phone use or filming allowed during the class to protect your privacy. We ask that everyone respect the privacy and confidentiality of other participants.

Who teaches the workshops?
The workshop is designed and taught by Flame Tender (https://fetlife.com/users/142322, http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000962238391). A busy professional during the day, Flame Tender has been exploring sensuality, sexuality and human potential for more than 20 years. He's trained in meditation, mediation, NLP, and extended orgasm. For the past 5 years he's explored the BDSM communities of San Francisco and New York. He considers himself an explorer and enjoys bringing what he finds to audiences that may never venture into a dungeon.

Flame Tender will be assisted by his lovely girlfriend. A chef and nutritional consultant by day she serves in workshops as model and co-facilitator.
