Save the first Wednesday of each month to be part of the largest abuse survivor Meetup group in the country! Our discussions are so powerful that there is a desire by many who attend each month to meet more often. If you would like: an opportunity to find out that you are not alone in how you feel get a "reality check" from those who understand that what you are experiencing is common to so many of us have a chance to be listened to by someone other than your therapist or, ask a question you have been pondering... Then come to our next Survivors meeting. It is common to hear members walking out of the meeting exclaiming "What an incredible gift the evening was!" Give yourself a gift and spend some quality time with other survivors. The purpose of this group is to provide a forum for survivors to talk with other survivors. This is not a therapy group. There is no agenda. It is an open forum for survivors to share their past and present experiences. For some, this will be their first public discussion of a very sensitive and private part of their lives. For others, this is a refreshing, new group of people to dialog with. If there is a particular topic you would like to discuss, a specific question you would like to pose, or you just want to sit back and listen, feel comfortable in doing so. A safe and supportive environment will be provided to promote discussion and sharing. We meet in a conference room to ensure privacy. Starbucks is across the street so feel free to bring a cup of coffee with you. The building is on Beacon Street, one block past Washington Street on your right as you are leaving the city. Our building is next to the white funeral home and we are in the same block as Vinny T's of Boston. FYI: the conference room is up one flight of stairs. There is on-street parking and the Green Line C train (Cleveland Circle) stops a few doors down from our building. Please come join us and experience the gift of spending time with other survivors!
