Description
The ÃÂ"Thanksgiving HikeÃÂ" is normally very well attended. We generally all bring our Turkey-Day leftovers and do a mild hike, during which, at lunchtime, the feastings are re-feasted upon. Time: 11 am... Meet and Greet Cancellations: We will hike no matter what....so no worries about the weather!! Level of Hike: Intermediate Level...8 miles over hilly and rocky wilderness terrain where some hills can be steep. Hiking boots and a light duty backpack are recommended. Please, dress appropriately for the season and weather, with brisk activity in mind....bring plenty of water and your own lunch. Hike destination will be chosen immediately early in the week based on prevailing weather conditions, size of the group, and the availability of trailhead parking. I will be given the meetup details to RSVP individuals through email.
