Participants discuss Judith Richardson's book about how ghosts and the supernatural have become ingrained in the culture and history of the Hudson Valley.
Reading Between the Linesâ"Cultural Crossroads at the Hudson River Valley is a series that explores the development of the Hudson River Valley region. Participants discuss the ethical dilemmas, power dynamics and social psychological tensions involved in the settlement of the Valley. The sessions are led by Gail Perry-Ryder, a graduate student at the City University of New York.
- Directions: #1 subway train to West 242nd Street #1 Station. A free Wave Hill van meets visitors at the terminus hourly while returning visitors departing the gardens. Passenger pick-up and drop-off are on the west side of Broadway directly in front of Burger King. Shuttle schedules at www.wavehill.org
